One of the real standout areas in our @australiscaravansnz build is our kitchen sink setup. We’re honestly so stoked to see how many of you are now choosing this option in your own @australiscaravans builds too. You don’t need to settle for a tiny little caravan sink anymore. When we first took this idea to the team at @australiscaravansnz it was very much a “righto… what are we thinking here?” conversation. But that’s what we love about them, they’re always open to pushing things a little further and making it work properly. We found @buildmat which had the perfect vibe and items! We went with Alma Penny Single Bowl Sink added the Alma Penny Sink Protector Grid and Alma Aiden Portable Drain Board, and finished it with Alma Fleta 3 Way Filter tapware, all in brushed stainless steel. It’s genuinely massive, 510 by 450. It gives the whole kitchen this upmarket, almost apartment-style feel, but it’s also incredibly practical when you’re actually living on the road. The road between @hokitikaisite and @glaciercountrynz is a quaint, step-back-in-time adventure in itself. @hokitika_nz is definitely that cool little @westcoastnewzealand town. Driftwood-strewn beaches, proper op-shops, great food… and of course, the pounamu. The folks chose beautifully at @traditionaljade Mom left with a stunning kōru and Cam found a hei tiki he absolutely adores. We also popped into @rataandrose and couldn’t resist a couple of items there too. There’s so much to do around Hokitika, we always recommend the @thenationalkiwicentre but this time we were on a mission and the road was calling. Next stop: the The Historic Empire Hotel in Ross for a cold one. We LOVE Ross. If you’re overnighting, @ross_beach_top_10 is a gem! Then it’s that magic stretch south. Coastal driving alongside the Tasman Sea, lush West Coast rainforest closing in around you, the Southern Alps sitting quietly inland. Through Hari Hari (we love stopping at Willows Crafts when it’s open), down to Whataroa where the golf club camping is a great little find, and onwards! It’s a drive that reminds you of an older, calmer @purenewzealand and we never get tired of it. #tasmantravels #newzealand #westcoast #roadtrip #travel

You cannot do the @westcoastnewzealand and not stop at Punakaiki. The Pancake Rocks are unreal stacked limestone, crashing blowholes, and that wild, rainforest-covered coastline that feels straight out of Jurassic Park. Just an easy cruise from @top10greymouth it’s the ultimate day trip. And we lucked out with the Fox River Markets on too… good coffee, local stalls, epic vibes. We recently stayed at @top10greymouth us in our @australiscaravansnz and the folks parked up beside us in their @soel_outdoors hire motorhome. You’re literally a one-minute walk to the beach. Step out of the park and you’re on the pebbles and sand, listening to that wild @westcoastnewzealand surf roll in!!! The facilities genuinely impressed us and it’s an easy run into Māwhera @greymouthnz for supplies, coffee or dinner, and it makes a brilliant base for exploring up to Pancake Rocks and Blowholes. Close to everything, but still peaceful. #tasmantravels #newzealand #top10 #greymouth #travel

Happy Valentine’s Day. 🌅

“Now I see you every morning” That marks 13 years of being inseparable.

The first leg of our South Island tiki tour with the folks kicked off at @spencerbeachtop10 and took us straight over Arthur’s Pass! 🏔️ Following behind in their @soel_outdoors hire motorhome, stretching its legs over the Pass while we led the way with the mighty @australiscaravansnz Not a bad first proper mountain drive… We stopped at Kura Tāwhiti Castle Hill to explore those epic limestone formations, ancient, dramatic, and always a favourite, before rolling into Klondyke Corner @docgovtnz Camp for the night. A village café pie was essential (with a few cheeky kea keeping watch), and we walked it off climbing the many steps up to Devil’s Punchbowl Falls. Worth every single one. Blue skies, crisp alpine air, and plenty of fellow adventurers out soaking it all in.

We parked up at @spencerbeachtop10 while waiting for the folks to land from the UK and join the convoy in their @soel_outdoors hire motorhome, following us in the @australiscaravansnz obviously 😉 This park is seriously spacious. It’s surrounded by forest, so it feels peaceful and tucked away, yet you’re only about 20 minutes from @christchurch_airport and not far from @christchurchnz city at all. You genuinely get that “out in the bush” feel without being miles from anything. Spencer Beach is just down the road for coastal walks, and if you’re into biking, you’re right in Bottle Lake Forest Park, which has some of the best MTB trails around. Modern facilities, plenty of amenity blocks, and a really friendly team running the place. Such a good launch pad for kicking off a South Island adventure. #tasmantravels #top10holidayparks #newzealand #travel #christchurch
